Features

  • 0.012″ stainless steel shield – wraps around the entire coupling to resist crushing from heavy earth loads

  • Molded-in bushing – maintains pipe alignment even when shear forces try to shift the joint

  • Spot-welded clamps – the shear ring and clamps are permanently positioned, so nothing slips during installation

Built to industry standards:

  • ASTM C 1173 – for underground flexible transition couplings

  • CSA B602 – for DWV and sewer mechanical couplings

  • ASTM D 5926 – for PVC gaskets

  • Withstands -40°F – no brittleness in freezing ground

  • Rated for 4.3 PSI – proven for gravity sewer and drainage systems

  • 140°F maximum – safe for non-continuous hot water exposure
